Music Production with Ableton Live

This 9 weeks part-time course is dedicated to Music Production with Ableton Live.

The lectures are in the evening, once a week, making it easy to get training on Ableton Live even if you are in full-time employment or studying something else.

While you learn on the latest version of Ableton Live, all the general elements of music production are covered and this knowledge can be applied to any other software: we start from absolute beginner level (using samples and loops), and very quickly move to learn the secrets of drum and groove programming, finishing with arrangement, using effects, mixing and mastering in Live.

Expert Tuition to Compose, Remix, DJ, Perform with Ableton Live

Throughout the course you will also learn what Ableton Live has to offer to performing artist, DJs, and studio producer: Live's interactive capabilities can be used to produce mixtapes, quick remixes (mashup) or to play for an audience, but this is not just a DJ tool - the applications in sound design, composition, or as an addition to a traditional studio setup are simply amazing.

If you have not purchased Live yet this course is the perfect opportunity to learn the difference between all the different versions (Ableton Live Intro, Ableton Live Lite, Ableton Live Suite)and experiment with the some of the most popular controllers: Akai APC40, Novation Launchpad, iPad, and many others. And if you already own some of these, it's time to learn how to get the most out of them!
