Bespoke & Customised Training
Even though we try our best to offer courses in different formats, there are situations that require bespoke solutions.
If what you need is not listed anywhere on this website, call our office to see if there is anything we can suggest.
Here are a few examples of customised training we have provided in the past:
- Training and Industry Certification for teachers and academic staff.
- Bespoke training for charity and social workers.
- Bespoke Summer courses delivered on behalf of local authorities.
- On-site training for sales reps, demonstrators and support personnel at music equipment stores.
- Corporate events.
- Bespoke training and consultancy for manufacturers.

One to One Sessions
We can arrange individual sessions for an hourly rate: you choose the subject, suggest a time (we'll try to match it or give you a few alternative options), and decide how many hours you want to book.
Individual sessions provide value for money when you have a very specific question (or list of questions), or if you really can't commit to a regular schedule.
In some cases we will also suggest a few hours of one-to-one tuition if you are a complete beginner, to provide a quick introduction to music production and to give you a sense of what it'd be like to study at London School of Sound before you commit to a longer course.
When you apply for individual training we will discuss in advance what you aim to achieve, and give you a realistic idea of how long it might take (and how much it will cost). We will then locate the most qualified trainers to cover the subjects you are interested in and confirm the sessions with you.

Terms & Conditions for Customised and Bespoke Training
Booking for a customised session is like reserving a seat for a movie at your local cinema.
You can check availability in advance and we can give you all the information you need: we call this a provisional booking. At this stage your place has still not been reserved and all the details we discussed could still change.
Your place is actually reserved when we receive a payment for the full amount we agreed. From this moment you can’t make any changes, and no refunds or rescheduling can be made if you are late or cannot attend. If for whatever reason we can’t provide the session as agreed you will get a full refund of what you paid, but no compensation for any extra expenses you might have incurred (travel, accommodation, etc).
Customised Tuition or 'Regular' Course?
Before you call our office to discuss the best options for your training, please consider the following:
- The cost-per-hour of bespoke training is normally higher, in some cases significantly higher, than that of our regular courses.
- Our regular courses are designed to take you to from A to Z in a structured way, at an intense but measured pace: in contrast, when you choose to attend individual sessions you might have all your questions answered in a day, but it might be harder to absorb and retain this information.
- If you are worried that a regular course will contain elements you already know, consider that you are still likely to learn more and spend less in a structured course, even if some of the material is not new to you.
- If you just want someone to come to your studio and fix your computer, what you need is trouble-shooting. You can find plenty of people offering this service for a reasonable fee on magazines and internet.

London School of Sound has a strict policy of not advertising 'celebrity' students: we appreciate public support when we get it, but we respect your right to treat your studies as a private matter.
If you have additional concerns regarding privacy, security, or other special requirements, individual sessions might be the solution, and home tuition are possible (though not cheap).
