The following modules are part of the Music Production Diploma.

For those looking to get training on one specifc area, subject or technique, it is possible to take individual modules as part-time courses. Read a brief description of each module and follow the links for more details.

Module Description
Music Production Essentials The foundations of your music career. Learn Logic Pro, programming beats, synthesis, sampling, compression, effects, remixing , achieving release quality, music business.
Foundations of Sound Engineering Capturing a performance in studio and on stage. Learn Pro Tools, microphones techniques, analogue and digital mixing, operating a professional recording studio.
Form, Structure, & Creativity The difference between producing a track and producing one that people will play. Learn critical listening, advanced midi programming, arrangement, corrective and creative use of effects, psychoacoustics and special techniques applied to mixing and programming.
Sound Design & Synthesis Learn Native Instruments Komplete and every major synthesis technique. Learn post production, Foley, create unique soundscapes for music, film, television, games and more.
Studio Engineering* Only available as part of a full-time Diploma. Perfect your skills recording bands, learn advanced microphone techniques, learn how to manage time, people and resources.
Advanced Studio Techniques Mixing Pre-production. The less-known techniques to use before and during mixing to achieve clarity, punch and definition. A unique course with no equivalents anywhere else.
Record Production* New course starting in 2011 - Work with real bands and artists, manage a budget, develop a project and see it through from start to finish. This is not an exercise, it's a real production.
Advanced Mixing Techniques Learn mixing from a professional engineer with years of experience. Use any combination of software and analogue equipment in the same studio where Pink Floyd, Joy Division, Soul II Soul used to work.

*Studio Engineering and Record Production are only available as part of a full-time Diploma.
