We receive many requests for detailed information on the Logic certification process, so we have collected here some of the most frequently asked questions: if reading this page carefully doesn't help, feel free to contact us directly.
Yes, now you can choose to study at home and take just the exam. Our internal code for the exam-only option is LP102. There is a charge for the exam, and if you fail you will have to wait one week before attempting again (this is a strict requirement of the worldwide certification system and it's outside our control); furthermore, you will be charged again for every attempt.
Obviously you can't take the level 2 exam until you have passed level 1, but no class is required anymore.
If you have more questions about the exam call our office on 020 7720 6183.
You can choose to take your exam immediately (on the last day of the course) or anytime within two weeks from the end of the course. We will work with you to arrange a time and allocate a computer for the exam. You could also choose to take your exam at another Apple training centre anywhere in the world, but in this case it's very likely that there would be an additional charge, and a limited choice of scheduled days for exams.
If you choose the exam-only option the exam can be arranged at a time that suits: we will just ask you to contact us a couple of days ahead of your preferred date to confirm the availability of space and exam codes.
Yes, you can take exams for all Apple user certifications (Final Cut, osX, Aperture, etc); call to discuss the details.

Certifications for Logic 8 level one and level two expire on January 2010. After this date users who have lost access to the Apple Certification Alliance website and whose names don't appear on the public database anymore need to re-certify for the latest version of the software. London School of Sound offers a 15% to those users even if their certification was obtained from another training centre (requires proof of certification; this offer can't be taken in conjunction with any other offer).
To become an Apple Trainer you must attend a T3 (Train The Trainer) course with Apple. However, before you can reserve a place on the next T3 class, you must have the following:
