Who Are We
London School of Sound is an independent college specialised in adult education for the creative industries, with a particular focus on music production, music business, and sound design for games, film and other media.
What We Do

Our Mission
Our mission is to promote the highest standard of education for professional music and media production, and in so doing to support creative and talented individuals creating quality content for the benefit of everyone.
How Do We Do It
Our innovative curriculum and teaching method have the primary focus of delivering skills that are of immediate and practical use; the curriculum's content, quality of teaching and actual results are monitored daily, and a lean management structure allows for continuous adjustments as required; significant changes are made every year following changes in technology and working practices to keep the courses always up to date and absolutely relevant.
Non-Profit and Independent
LSS supports itself and finance its activities by charging course fees, and is completely independent from government policies or private interest.
Being a non-profit organisation means that we don't have to generate money for shareholders (we don't have any): no need to take shortcuts, no compromise on quality, none of the practices that a regular business uses to generate a profit for its owner.
What we don't spend in delivering the best education for our students is re-invested in the pursuit of our mission, for example creating free teaching resources available to everyone, funding scholarships and bursaries for deserving students, doing research and promoting public awareness to issues related to sound and the music industry.
