The Sound Design three-day course is designed to give students an overview of all aspects of Audio Post Production for the film and game industries. Students will gain first-hand experience in planning, preparing and executing professional film audio post production techniques in a condensed basic course. This will give them knowledge of the principles behind sound design for the moving image and enable them to make a decision whether it is a field which they would like to pursue as a vocation.
The objective of the Sound Design three-day course is to provide students with an understanding of the following aspects of Audio Post Production:
An outline of Automatic Dialogue Replacement (ADR) techniques will be introduced but not covered in detail due to the main focus of the course being specifically sound design. ADR fits in to the broader topic of Audio Post Production.
