With the introduction of the Points-Based System (PBS) the school becomes the SPONSOR for your Student VISA.
This means that before you can apply for a Student VISA you will need to receive a formal offer from the school (Student Offer Letter), showing that you have been accepted to a course that qualify for a Student VISA.
You will need to contact our admission office to arrange a preliminary interview; if we are satisfied that you qualify for a course the next step is to arrange a bank transfer to pay for the course fees (the minimum payment is for one academic term). On receipt of this payment the school will send you the Student Offer Letter which will include detailed information about your course and the school's Sponsor Licence number.
Only at this point you will be able to apply for a Student VISA.

Read carefully the application form to get an idea of which documents you need to apply for a Student VISA (see the boxes on the right of this page for which VISA type).
VERY IMPORTANT:
The new regulations introduce more strict requirements regarding your ability to fund your studies. As a consequence we believe that you will need to plan your application many months in advance to be successful.
London School of Sound will not refund any course fees paid if your application is turned down because you have not applied on time. Read more about our refunds policy in our Extended Courses Terms and Conditions.

If the course you are interested in is not full-time or less than six months long you will not qualify for an Adult Student VISA, but you need to apply for a Student Visitor VISA.
A Student Visitor Visa cannot be changed for an Adult Student VISA once you are in the UK. If you want to visit a few schools to choose which one you will attend you should apply for a Prospective Student VISA, which will allow you to stay in the UK for up to six months without working and then apply for an Adult Student VISA.
Contact our admissions office if you think this applies to you.
